Genesis 48 The Blessing From Jacob-Israel

To see Genesis 48 without my comments click HERE.

Genesis 48 is the passage where Jacob-Israel became very ill. Joseph took his two sons Ephraim and Manasseh to go meet their grandfather as he was putting his affairs into order. Jacob knew that Father Yahweh blessed him at the Well of Oath and promised to make a great nation out of him within Egypt. Although the Israelites were to become a great nation within the borders of Egypt, eventually, in the end the Israelites became slaves to to Egyptian government through unfair regulation. Eventually the nation of Israel would end up leaving Egypt as slaves. The true nature of the Israelites is that they are a freedom loving people wanting to live under Yahweh's simple laws and not mans.

Israel's love of freedom is best surmised by Howard Rand in “Primogenesis” on pages 126-127 when he wrote: “ In the development of the nation and company of nations, the Abrahamic peoples have always fought for freedom. To subject them to laws of restraint today incites a spirit of resistance among the people and quickly engenders rebellion.”

When Joseph's children arrived Jacob mustered the strength to talk to Joseph as he blessed Joseph's children. I hope all will notice that Joseph himself never received the blessing at all from Israel, but instead the blessing went directly to Joseph's children. When Jacob-Israel blessed Joseph's children he literally adopted them as his own children; Gen 48:5-6. All other children Joseph was to have after that point would fall tribally under Ephaim and Manasseh; Joshua17:17, and were addressed by Joshua as such in Joshua chapters 16 and 17. This blessing that the boys were to receive was a double portion of what the other sons of Israel would later receive.

Many Judeo-Christians believe that the people we call "Jews" today received the blessing from Jacob-Israel and Jews encompass all of Israel. The truth is that most people we call Jews are not Semites but rather are Ashkenazi Khazar's from the footsteps of Russia that are proselytes to the Anti-Christ religion to Talmudism or Judaism, and have absolutely nothing at all to do with the Bible nor the Holy Land except for where the Messiah talks to the Edomite Rabbi's; Matt 23:15.

Even if somehow one could prove an Ashkenazi or other proselyte came from Judah, then keep in mind that in Gen 37:27 Judah was very instrumental in selling Joseph into slavery and also corrupted his seed by having children with a canaanite woman Gen 38:1-2, Which God ended up killing his Canaanite wife and children. Technically speaking Judah was the uncle of Ephraim and Manasseh and Judah did not receive the blessing from Israel!

Jacob-Israel crossed his arms when he blessed Joseph's children and created the thirteenth tribe of Israel.

Putting his right hand on Ephraim and left on Manasseh, Israel put the first part of the blessing on Ephraim the youngest. Joseph tried to correct Israel and told him that the youngest was under his right hand. Jacob told him he knew it and that he knew what he was doing. He told Joseph that Ephraim would be a multitude of nations and Manasseh would become a great nation. When Israel did this (split the blessing) between the two boys he created what we now call the 13 tribes of Israel.

The number thirteen and the crossing of the arms became national symbols of Israel, and is commonly used in nations that have been found by Hebrew Israelites. These symbols have been used in flags in both Europe and in America (The Confederate Flag) to define Hebrew Israelite lineage.

It's amazing that there is great proof that Father Yahweh has never left his people and never will. Praise be the Lord!

Genesis 47 Joseph Presents Israel to Pharaoh

To see Genesis 47 without my comments click HERE.

In Genesis 47 we read that Joseph presented 5 of his brothers to the Pharaoh. He told them to say their business was in cattle and sheep. This was because the shepherds to the Egyptians were an abomination, so he worked the angle of cattlemen in with their resume because the Pharaoh had cattle that needed experienced people to take care of them in the land of Goshen, and of course this was exactly where the Pharaoh wanted them to live.
Next Joseph presented his father Jacob-Israel to the Pharaoh. During his visit Jacob blessed Pharaoh, of course the blessing came from God through Jacob; Gen12:3. The Israelites were given the best of the best when they sojourned in Egypt under Joseph's hand, meanwhile the Egyptian standard of living decreased. This is because the Father was punishing the Egyptians with a famine as he does with other pagan societies such as Sodom and Gomorrah, that refuse to live under Yahweh's laws. We know in the end centuries later, the Israelites eventually became slaves themselves in Egypt because of their sins under a different Pharaoh; Exodus 1.

An important part of this chapter comes from the seemingly benign statement of when Jacob was asked by the Pharaoh what his age was in V.9, and Jacob told him he was 130 years old. The importance of this information lies in the fact that with this information we can calculate the age of the Adamic race which Jacob came from. The word “Adam” according to Strong's Concordance #119 means to have a ruddy complexion, or having the ability to blush.

I don't plan to take you through the entire process of determining the age of the Adamite race, but hopefully I will give enough information for others to get a head start to follow through if they wish to add up all the years.
We know Issac was 60 when Jacob was born and the Israelites sojourned in Egypt for 430 years. Then it was another 480 years from the time of the Exodus in Egypt, to the building of Solomon's Temple; 1 Kings 6:1.

Adding the years for each of the kings reign from both Judah and Israel, and how long they worshiped the golden calves, you will come up with a number of approximately 6,250 years. I have met people who think that the amount of years that God will let Adam's family reject Yahweh and his laws, is exactly 6,000 years before he comes to establishes his millennial kingdom here on earth. If you add up all the years then you will quickly realize we are already past the 6,000 year mark.

If adding the years was just a simple problem of mathematics to figure out when the Messiah will return, then the Messiah could have figured that out when he was here and he would not have told the disciples that only the Father knows the time of his return; Matt 24:36. However, I personally think the time could be very near because the bible tells us that if God doesn't intervein then men will eventually destroy all life on the planet, and man has that capability now; Matt24:22.

Meanwhile Joseph's brothers were wondering about Joseph's generosity, and believed that he was just acting nice in front of their father Jacob by giving them food and allowing them to sojourn in Goshen. So at the time when Jacob dies in the future would be the moment of truth which will either prove or disprove their belief; Gen 50:15.

Also in this passage the Bible tells us that Joseph collected all the money in the land for the Pharaoh and when the money failed, there was no more money to collect), he traded bread to the Egyptians for their cattle during the first year. During the following year, Joseph then traded bread to the people for themselves and their properties, except for the Egyptian priests which were assigned food directly from the Pharaoh. After Joseph bought all the cattle, people, and land of Egypt for the Pharaoh, he then had the Egyptians move into cities and were only allowed back on the farmland as sharecroppers which they had to paid Pharaoh 20% of their crops. This sounds like a huge tax however, it's less than what we pay for taxes in America right now. This form of Egyptian sharecropping existed for at least 430 years until the time when Moses wrote the book of Genesis according to v.26.

Jacob lived for another 17 years and took an oath from Joseph to bury him in the Cave of Machpelah. after he dies. It's probably more than just coincidental that Jacob lived for another 17 years and was taken care of by Joseph which is the same amount of years that Jacob took care of Joseph before he was sold into slavery by his brothers.

I thank Father Yahweh for the story of Joseph that has been handed down throughout the centuries. All of Joseph's abilities came directly from the Father. I pray all of Israel will say "yes" to the Father so his will will be here on earth as it is in heaven, just as the Lord's Prayer states!

Praise the Lord!

Israel and The Covenant of Abraham Still Exist Part 2

Continued from Part 1...

This obviously means that the Abrahamic covenant, throne of David, and the Israelites are still in existence today. This will last until the Messiah returns to occupy the throne of David. The Throne of David is also called the throne of the Lord in 1 Chron 29:23, which the Lord will occupy, but, hasn't returned to do yet; Luke 1:32-33.

This is the point in Biblical History where Israel is removed from Canaan land and taken into captivity by the Assyrians. Most Judeo-Christian ministers either neglect to read their bibles or flat out lie by stating that the tribes of Israel are not in existence today because they racially mixed with the Assyrians, and believe the tribes of  Israel have been cast away by Father Yahweh. Of course if we read our Bibles then we will realize that if the Father had cast away his people, then this would mean that he would be a liar; Heb 6:13-18. There is no evidence at all in the Bible that the Father has cast away his people away forever anywhere in the bible.

The truth of the Father not casting aside his people is also found in verses; Isaiah 41:8-9, Deut 4:26-31, and Malachi3:6. Even when they are in captivity, especially the Assyrian captivity, God has not cast away his people. This can be found in Lev26:44. When the Messiah came we are told in Matt 15:24 that he has come only for the Lost Sheep of Israel. Did he come for a people who were cast aside and did not exist? I think not. Other verses to support this are: Isaiah 41:8-9, Deut 4:26-31, and Malachi 3:6.
In James 1:1 he addresses his book to the lost tribes scattered abroad, and 1 Peter1:1 Peter addresses the Israelites as the Strangers abroad that are sojourning in other lands. So the question is do we believe God or do we believe politically correct men?

In Jerimiah 31:10 the prophet writes for the Israelites that are in the Isles afar off, which we know as Britain today. We also know that in Jeremiah 32:37-44 and in Isaiah 43:5-6 he will bring Israel together again once more. He will reform Israel as a “Potted vessel”. He will bring them from afar off Jeremiah 46:27. Ezekiel 34:1-16 the bible talks about the sinful shepherds of Israel, and how he will save Israel from the lies of the Shepherds. In Amos 9 Yahweh talks about his judgement being inescapable.

In this regathering of Israel we know it's not in modern day Palestine because at the time this book was written was when Israel was in Palestine, so obviously it had to be somewhere else where the regathering would take place. He seeks out the house of Israel in Ezekiel 34:11.

Some may try to counter this claim as in 1 Timothy 3:16 which claims Christ preached among the Heathens. If you look in Strong's Concordance the word heathen came from the word (Ethnos). Ethnos in Strong's Concordance #1484 tells us the word Ethnos should have been translated into the words Nations or people. Yes the Messiah did come to preach to the peoples of Israel that were scattered among the nations, so obviously Nations would be the correct translation because he did not preach to nor instruct his disciples to go to the heathens but to the lost sheep of Israel.

One day the false Shepherds will be removed and and new shepherds will be installed Jer 23:1-4. Then the throne of David will be occupied by by Christ Luke 1:32-33. What a glorious day it will be! Yashua Messiah has redeemed Israel with a great price! Isaiah 52:3,5.

He will eventually establish his kingdom here on earth as illustrated in the parables of the Wheat and Tares in Matt 13, and Parable of the Husbandman in Matt 21. Our prayer should be, as it is also the Lords Prayer: "Our Father who art in heaven hollowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven..." It's only when we realize that his kingdom is here on earth and he is coming to establish his order is when, and only when, we fully appreciate his word. The time is drawing close to his return and I pray all will be ready!

Praise Yahweh all!

Israel and The Covenant of Abraham Still Exist Part 1

As we progress in Genesis I think it's a necessity to talk directly about the Abrahamic Covenant. With this particular post I am going to show what I believe to be the obvious. Some have difficulty understanding Abraham's Covenant, so I will try to share what I know about it. As always I do not try to convince anyone to believe anything. I do however try to stir up enough curiosity for Christians to study things for themselves as they are directed by God's Holy Spirit; Isaiah 28:10.

Abrahamic Covenant by E Raymond Capt is a good read that is available from Artisan Publishers for $2.50 for those who want more information than I have here.

I have been in Christian churches and have heard the ministers of various churches verbalize their ignorance when I tell them that the Bible was written about Israel, and was written directly to Israel. Their belief Of course which they wrongfully believe is that the nation of Israel was just absorbed into the Assyrian nation during the Assyrian captivity and that Father Yahweh cast his people (Israel) aside picking up a new Multicultural Israel Replacement Theology that claims everyone can be, or is, Israel everywhere at all times. It's important to understand the Abrahamic Covenant and who Israel is because the Bible is clear about this Abrahamic Covenant; that if you bless Israel then you will be blessed, and all the families of the earth will also be blessed by his people called Israel; Genesis 12:3

So obviously, if you are blessing the wrong people then you will not be personally blessed by God nor will your nation be blessed, but rather will only bring chastisement from God.

Today I plan only to share my belief that Israel still exists and that Israel was not cast aside by Father Yahweh.

First, we must realize that the original Abrahamic Covenant was of course made with Abraham and with his seed; Gen 17:4-7, Heb 6:13. This particular Covenant is an everlasting contract between the two parties involved. This covenant was eventually passed to Isaac and then Jacob. This Covenant has not been revoked in any way; Gen 17:8-24, Romans 9:7-9. In Genesis 26:1-5 it's confirmed that this covenant went to Isaac, and then next to Jacob; Gen35:10-12. The Abrahamic covenant was not conditional, It was both irrevocable and unchangeable.

So far we have established these 3 facts about the descendants of Abraham:
  1. They will be innumerable as dust of the earth; Gen 13:16, Gen 28:14.
  2. They will be innumerable as the stars of the sky; Gen 15:5.
  3. They will be innumerable as the sand of the sea and will possess the gates of their enemies; Gen 22:17, Gen 32:12.

Next in Genesis 35:10 Jacob's name was changed to “Israel” and his 12 children were then known as Israelites, which made up the 12 tribes of Israel; Gen 35:22. Israel loved his son Joseph the most of all his children. His other children were not qualified to receive Israel's birthright blessing; Gen 37:3. Although Joseph did not actually receive Israel's blessing, his children Ephraim and Manasseh did. These two children created the 13th tribe of Israel; Gen 48:16-20. When Joseph's children received Israel's blessing they were told that Ephraim would be a multitude of nations first and Manasseh would be a great nation second.

Father Yahweh personally saved the nation of Israel from the Egyptian army when he brought an East wind to freeze the Red Sea (Gulf of Aqaba); Exodus 14:21

Then the Israelites sojourned in Egypt for the next 430 years and left Egypt under the guidence of Moses. When they arrived at Mt. Sinai they received the laws, statutes, and judgements of Father Yahweh which was the first National Covenant. This National Covenant is not the Abrahamic and the National Covenant was conditional upon their obedience; Exodus24:7.

This National Covenant is outlined in Deut 28 (the blessings and curses chapter) and in Lev 26.
In Lev 26 we also read the penalties for disobedience which progressively get worse until Israel is eventually removed from the land they possess for 2520 years.

It wasn't very long before Israelite nation wanted a human king to replace the Father and they ended up getting Saul as king; 1 Sam 8:7-22. Saul was soon removed and David took his place. The bible says that David's throne will last forever; 2 Sam 7:11-17, Psalms 89:29-37, Jer33:17-26.

So we see that:
1. The Abrahamic Covenant went through Abraham to the Israelites.
2. The Kingdom of Israel is established forever.
3. The throne of David will last forever.

Genesis 46 Joseph meets Jacob-Israel

To see Genesis 46 without my comments click HERE.

On the way to Egypt Jacob-Israel stopped at Beer-sheba (Beer-sheba means well of oath) and offered sacrifices to Father Yahweh. Jacob-Israel had concerns about entering Egypt. This is because this is the same place where his Grandfather Abraham lied about his wife; Gen 12:10-20, and where his father Isaac was commanded not to go; Gen 26:2. But it was here at the well of oath Father Yahweh told Jacob that he will make of him a great nation inside the land of Egypt.

At this point in time there was 5 more years until the famine of Egypt would be over. If you notice this was not enough time for Jacob to establish himself as a great nation inside of Egypt before his death, so he obviously knew he was going to die there because God told him that Joseph will put his hand upon his eyes in death v.4. This of course means his descendants would be there for a long time.

Along with Jacob coming to Egypt, was his kin that numbered 66 people, including Joseph, his wife and his two children the total was 70. In Acts 7:14 Stephen the first maryter stated that there were 75 Israelites total that entered Egypt. With this number Stephen was quoting this number from the Septuagint, the number of 75 is also backed up by the Dead Sea Scrolls. It's commonly believed that the five extra of the 75 included five Grandchildren of Joseph that was added at a later date.

Anyway...
In v.10 it's written in way to lead you to believe that one of the people coming to Egypt was the son of Simeon and a Canaanite woman by the name of Shaul. I have heard before that this verse shows that Simeon may have had a racially mixed child, and this would mean it would be OK for anyone that is an Israelite to engage in miscegenation with Canaanites or other races. This argument may sound good on the surface however, we must realize that Simeon and Levy were also the ones that killed all the males in the land of Shechem in Gen 34. Using this analogy, if it's OK to fool around on your wife and produce bastardized children, (a bastard is defined as a racially mixed person according to Strong's Concordance #4464) and Simeon was such a great role model, then we should be fine if we slay a city full of men like Simeon and Levy did in Genesis 34, right? Wrong of course. I just hope we don't read somewhere in the bible that Simeon jumped off a bridge, other wise many Christians may be in trouble.

Judah was sent ahead to meet with Joseph where he was directed to go directly to Goshen, While Joseph met with his approaching Father Israel. Joseph told his brothers and father that when they meet with the Pharaoh, tell him that their trade is in cattle so that they will be able to go into the land of Goshen where they will be a separate nation from the Egyptians. This is because the Egyptians believed that shepherding was an abomination and wanted nothing to do with them.

It's important to notice that Israel was going to be a separate nation inside of Egypt and was not going to mix culturally and marry with the Egyptians. Another more common term for this separation is segregation.

Next in Genesis 46:35 we read that Father Yahweh immediately chastised Joseph and Jacob-Israel for their racist and bigoted ways for wanting to be segregated from the Egyptians...
Wait a minute, your bible doesn't say that? Well to be honest neither does mine. I only put that in to show the vanity of those who promote the new religion of the multicultural Israel replacement theology (MIRT), and shame on those who preach such things Jeremiah 23:1-2, Isaiah 56:10-11. The bible is replete with verses that promote being separate from other people. This doesn't mean that Israelites are to mistreat races of other people that happen to sojourn into the lands of the Israelites; Levitcus 19:33-34

Other verses that support the concept of not mistreating the stranger (foreigners), that sojourn among the Isralites are Exodus 12:48, Numbers 9:14, Numbers 15:14. Sojourn means to pass through or to temporarily lodge at most, sojourn does not mean to live with permanently!

In Deuteronomy 28 we read about the curses that Father Yahweh will give us if we do not follow his word. It's not by coincidence that all the curses of Deut 28 are now upon the United States. In verse 13 it talks about how we are to be the head and not the tail. It's now that Israel as a nation has become the tail and is becoming trampled underfoot in our own lands, can anyone say Barry Soetoro, Eric Holder, or even Ferguson, Missouri?

In half a lifetime, many Americans have seen their God dethroned, their heroes defiled, their culture polluted, their values assaulted, their country invaded, and themselves demonized as extremists and bigots for holding on to beliefs Americans have held for generations.”
Pat Buchanan “The Death of the West”

It's not that the evil forces that work in this world are to strong, it's that the Christians are weak and diluted in their belief systems which are in diametric opposition to the form of Christianity that this nation was founded on from the 1600's.

Only when we humble ourselves and seek direction in God's word will anything change at all in our lives or in our country; 2 Chronicles7:14. Praise the Lord!

2520 Years of Punishment for Israel

As we go through Genesis it's important to understand the 2520 years of punishment for Israel. This is because in Chapter 49 we are told where the descendants of Jacob-Israel are in the final days. In other words this time frame will help to identify where the Biblical Israelites are today. Of course anyone that follows this blog should know there are volumes of proof that the Biblical Israelites of old migrated to modern day Europe. I think I may loose a few people on this explanation of the years but, I will try anyway, here goes...

There is an agreement made with Biblical Israel in Exodus 19:5-6. The Israelites were told that they are a peculiar people above all, and we are to be a Kingdom of priests, a holy nation that will teach others how they should live according to the standards of Father Yahweh. In Exodus 19:8 Israel agrees to the covenant set forth by the Father. In v 10-11 God comes to speak directly to them the words of the agreement. In V.16-20 Mt Sinai was full of smoke and fire, the people were afraid to go to physically and literally see Father Yahweh. Instead they wanted Moses to go and just let them know whatever the Father said.

The blackened peak of Mt Sinai is a living testament to the authenticity of Father Yahweh's word

With this agreement that was reached between the Father and Israel to make a kingdom of holy priests he put stipulations on this irrevocable agreement and told them what would happen if they backed out of their end of the deal. This is written in the blessings and curses chapter in Leviticus 26:3-13 the Lord also tells us in the same chapter of the wondrous blessings we would have if we follow his word.

In Deuteronomy 28:15-68 The lord tells us of the consequences of being disobedient to his word and his teachings. Of course we notice that the curses greatly outweigh the blessings of following his word. In Leviticus 26 we get the time of the punishment if we do not follow his laws and this Chapter also shows the duration.

The Fathers punishment comes in waves and does not happen all at once, this is because he is loving and merciful. He gives us a chance to correct our actions before the worse of the worse happens. Notice Leviticus 26:18 in particular he tells us that if we will not harken unto him then we can expect punishment of “seven times.” What is this seven times one may ask? “Times” is code for a unit of time in which Israel is to be punished. For example, in Daniel 12:7 this times word is used to refer to years. This can also be verified in Revelation 12:14 when it talks about the great tribulation as being a time, times, and a half, or in other words 3 ½ years or 42 months. This is also supported by Revelation 13:5 which also talks of this time as being 42 months. Some believe that these two separate 42 month time frames are not the same and believe together make 7 years instead of 3 1/2, which I plan to cover this at another date, anyway...

Back to Leviticus 26:18, in this verse it is talking about 7 times the prophetic days of 360 days. This is the exact use of prophetic years used in Daniel 9:24 to determine the exact time for the crucifixion of the Messiah. So seven prophetic years = 2520 years, or, 7 x 360 = 2520. So where I am going with this is that it's helpful to understand both history and the bible to know the beginning and outcomes of the waves of curses that have come upon Israel. The most prominent and recognized beginning is when Israel went into captivity starting 745 B.C. Then elapsing 2520 years after, remembering that there is no year zero, the deportation of Israel happened 2520 years before the founding of the United States 745 B.C.+ 2520 =1775 with no zero is 1776! This blessing of Israel of being a blessing to all was made by Father Yahweh, was made with Abraham which came directly through Isaac and Jacob; Genesis 22:16-18.

Eventually Israel be so corrupt that we were warned that Israel would be moved out of the land, and he kept his word; 1 Kings 14:15-16. When God makes a promise he always keeps it!

Below are the successive waves of major events and the years for all for those who wish to research the authenticity of the Lord's Holy Word.

Genesis 45 Joseph informs his half brothers of his true identity.

To see Genesis 45 without my comments click HERE.

After Joseph realized that Judah had changed his attitude from when he sold Joseph into slavery 22 years earlier, he decided to reveal himself to let his brothers know it was him. Joseph asked all the Egyptians in the area to leave so he could talk to them in private. Suddenly he started talking Hebrew and let them know that it was him, Joseph. As you could imagine the men were terrified of Joseph as he had all the right in the world to have them put to death in any fashion imaginable both under Egyptian law and under Hebrew law.
Joseph forgave his brothers. There are places in the Bible that tell us to forgive our brothers. In Matt 5:39 we are told to turn the other cheek to our brothers, of course for someone to be your brother you have to have a common father. Many modern day Baal priests erroneously claim that we are to turn the other cheek to anyone that comes along.

When Joseph revealed himself to his brothers he could see their discomfiture He told them to not be afraid because it was the will of the Father that made him come to Egypt to save the entire world and to save the Hebrew/Israelites v7-8. The Father can make people do things when he is moving his children into position to do great things to promote his kingdom here on earth; Isaiah 30:28, Ezekiel 38:4.

Instead of chastising his brothers, and knowing his brothers were being used of God, he told them to move to Egypt with their families and Jacob/Israel. There they could live with him in the land of Goshen which was prime land, and was the bread basket of Egypt. Joseph embraced his brother Benjamin then embraced all his brothers before talking to them for a little while.

All the brothers were given fine raiment and wagons to move the family of Israel to Egypt, but Benjamin received more raiment than his brothers and was given 300 pieces of silver. When Joseph's brothers arrived back in Canaan land they told Jacob/Israel that Joseph was alive and Governor of Egypt. Of course Israel (the man not the land) went into shock. It wasn't until he saw the wagons that Joseph sent did he understand and believe. Only then did he know that his eldest son, the son that he had with the wife that he loved, did he believe and agree to make the journey into Egypt.

Joseph had a forgiving spirit as he trusted the Father in all that happened to him. If Joseph followed his human nature then his brothers would have had a different ending. I thank God that Joseph saved the entire nation of Israel. Praise the Lord!

Genesis 44:3-34 Joseph's Cup

To see Genesis 44:3-34 without my comments click HERE.

In the last posting we see that Joseph had his silver cup put in Benjamin's sack. Although he was framing him, or setting him up, the final outcome for Benjamin would have been a good outcome either way. If his brothers disowned him and left after finding the cup then Benjamin would have lived out his days in the land of Egypt with Joseph. If his brothers didn't disown him when it was discovered then that would mean that Joseph's brothers have changed since they sold him into slavery 22 years prior.

This silver cup mentioned was not just an ordinary “silver cup” because the Egyptians practiced a pagan art called “Hydromancy” through which various procedures would determine their future and they would receive answers from their pagan gods. Today a form of Hydromancy still exists with fortune tellers and such that read tea leaves. This cup of Joseph's was in essence a portal to the gods, so it wasn't just an ordinary silver cup. Although Joseph did not practice Hydromancy, as far as his half brothers who did not recognize him as being Joseph were concerned, it was the ultimate of insults to take the cup from an Egyptian official. Joseph told his brothers that they would have had no chance at all to get away from Egypt with his cup because his contacts with the spirit world made him divine (Strong's #5172) v15.

Joseph's brothers knew the Egyptians practiced Hydromancy and taking the cup from the Governor of Egypt was serious business. Joseph recognized the god of Abraham when he dined with his brothers and told them they rewarded good with evil.

Upon finding the silver cup in Benjamin's sack the brothers knew there would be trouble. Judah, who was instrumental in selling Joseph into slavery 22 years earlier, told the entire story of his father and the events leading up to this point. He also told him that if Benjamin did not return with him to Canaan land then their father Jacob/Israel would literally die from a broken heart.

At this point Judah manned up and told Joseph that he will take the place of Benjamin as his servant v33 If he would let Benjamin go. I am sure the memory of selling Joseph into slavery earlier had bearing on his decision as he rented his clothes and repented.

I praise the Lord for the outcome of this story in which this test could only have happened because Joseph had a forgiving spirit that came from directly from God. Because of his position, Joseph had the ability to have his brothers killed at anytime based only upon his whim. Joseph recognized that everything in his life happened because of Yahweh.

The Palace of Joseph

As I go through the story of Joseph in Genesis, I believe it wouldn't be proper to neglect mentioning the recent archaeological finds of Joseph's palace.

The Bible states that Joseph's family settled in a land called Rameses in Gen 47:11. Archaeologists did not originally know exactly where this lost city of Rameses was located until recent years.

The story of finding this lost city begins about 40 years ago in the 1970's, when the feet of a colossal statue were found in a field of an ancient Egyptian city. The name of the remains of this ancient city under the field was called Pi-ramesse by the locals. Pi-ramesse I should ad had no evidence of Semitic occupation when excavated. This city was built hundreds of years after the time of Joseph.

Some inscriptions during the excavation of Pi-ramesse indicated that the city was built over top of another ancient city called Avaris. When archaeologists dug to the level of Avaris, it was found that this city did indeed exist during the time of Joseph. Most buildings in Avaris were built in a typical Egyptian style except for one area of the city where the buildings were built in the style of ancient Canaan land and they also found the remains of a palace. Because the archaeologists found the remains of a palace in this area, it would seem to indicate that a person of high ranking Semitic origin lived there. This palace was built with 12 columns and had other features that represent significant numbers in the bible.

In the back of this palace they found a small pyramid and a tomb chapel. Some archaeologists believe that this empty tomb may have possibly been the tomb of Joseph. Along with this chapel they also found a vandalized statue. When this statue was restored, they realized that the statue had red hair. Red hair is a Semitic feature that Joseph most likely had because his father Jacob/Israel had red hair also. This is easily proven in  Genesis 25:25 when the bible describes Esau's red hair, and of course Esau was the identical twin brother of Jacob. The statue also had yellow paint for skin which is the typical way the Egyptians represented foreigners from the North that had fair skin, and of course the Bible eludes to the fact that King David, which is in the same genetic line as both Joseph and Jacob, also had fair skin; 1 Sam 16:12, 1 Sam 17:42, Song of Solomon 5:10-11, Etc, Etc...

The most distinguishing characteristic of this statue is that the outline had a Multicolored coat with distinct patterns.Although one could argue that any one of these findings are circumstantial, there is no other person that a reasonable person could come to conclude this statue of being of. One other finding that was found in this temple of the city of Avaris, was the remains of a ring that had the seal of the Pharaoh on it. It's believed this is the exact ring was given to Joseph by the Pharaoh, for Joseph to able to conduct business in order to save both Egypt and the known world Gen 41:42.

Praie the Lord for the faith of Joseph, the Bible, and for Archaeology which proves his word to be true every day!

Genesis 43:1-44:2 Joseph's Brothers Are Tested By Joseph

To see Genesis 43-44:2 without my comments click HERE.

Eventually after a while, the corn that the Israelites brought back to Canaan land was being consumed to the point in which it was close to being depleted. Realizing this situation Israel (the man) knew that either his sons would have to return to Egypt or they would eventually starve. Israel told his sons to return to Egypt to buy more corn as this was the only real decision he could make. Although he didn't want Benjamin to go with them, he knew it had to be. Judah reminded Israel that he was told by the man, who was Joseph incognito, not to return for more corn without bringing Benjamin with them. Judah promised Israel that he would personally protect Benjamin and if Benjamin did not return from this journey to Egypt than Israel could kill both him and his children as his guarantee. “Then Judah exclaimed to Israel, “send the lad with me, and I will come up, and return him alive; and If not kill me, myself, as well as my children!” Ferrar Fenton translation.

I am sure it wasn't an easy decision, but never the less it was one that had to be made because of the seriousness of the famine. The Israelites set out with their caravan again to Egypt with Israel's blessing, with money in hand that was put into their sacks to return, and they had additional money with them to buy additional corn with. They also brought as a gift to appease Joseph; spices, honey, and nuts v.11. Because they had honey and nuts this would tend to indicate that they were absolutely not on their last food stores, but time was quickly running out. As the men approached Joseph's house, they explained to Joseph's steward that they found money in their bags from their last trip. The steward told them that their God which is also the God of Abraham put the money in their sacks. Because his steward told them this, this would would indicate that the steward was of the same racial stock as his wife Aseneth, that was desended from the earlier shepherd settlers to land of On from which they came directly from Shem (Noah's son).

Joseph tests his brothers...
When Joseph saw his brothers, Joseph ended up making a feast for his half brothers (Benjamin was his only full blooded brother). For this feast Joseph arranged the brothers in order from eldest Reuben to Benjamin the youngest. Benjamin of course had the birth right blessing coming from Israel because Joseph was believed to be dead. His other 3 older brothers the sons of Leah; Reuben, Simeon, and Levi were not qualified because of their sins. The remaining brothers were not qualified because they were children of the handmaids of Leah and Rachel.

You would think that the men would get a clue from this seating arrangement of the eldest to the youngest, but to no avail did they suspect they were directly dealing with Joseph. During this feast Joseph gave Benjamin 5 times the amount of food and treated him better than the rest of his brothers in an attempt to try to stir up animosity among the brothers against Benjamin. This test was to test the brothers to see if they would sell out Benjamin just like they did to him 22 years before. In this test Joseph had his steward put his silver cup in Benjamin's grain sack in an effort to make Benjamin look like a thief so when his cup is eventually discovered in Benjamin's sack his other brothers (half brothers) could disown him and would be allowed to just walk away back to Canaan land which would leave Josephs full brother (Benjamin) to live the rest of his days with Joseph in Egypt.

All of us go through tests every day. Sometimes it seems like it's for absolutely for no reason, but, it all comes together in the end for those who remain faithful.

Praise the Lord!

Ebola And The Handling Of Disease

I have posted about Ebola before and now am hearing resurgence in talk about this relatively new disease. In a general way I try to steer clear of news in the political arena unless it happens to deal with end time Bible prophecy (eschatology). Several people have discussed the Ebola outbreak with concern, including prisoners I write to in my prison writing ministry.

Before I discuss anything about Ebola and what the Bible says about disease, there are a couple of facts that I need to mention.

Heatlh workers forcing diseased people from their homes in Liberia. Because of Government corruption, some do not want to come forward for treatment. This is only one side effect of having Government corruption without any responsibility.

First and foremost...
Have you ever noticed that there is always a perpetual crisis going on at all times and everyone on the planet is going to always die very soon. You may remember the chicken flu a few years ago, or you may remember Y2K when all the planes were going to fall out of the sky. How about Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)? If you can't remember these then you should at least be familiar with the current crisis of ISIS (which ISIS just so happens to be the same initials of the Israeli Secret Intelligence Service, commonly called the MOSSAD). Just a coincidence? Unlikely. If you listen to the news about “ISIS”. This name that wasn't even heard of a few months ago and now is on the cusp of taking over the world and beheading everyone on the planet all at one time. You of course realize that this imminent crisis is dieing out and now we have “Ebola” that will kill everyone everywhere. Please, give me a break. Meanwhile we ignore real threats such as an approaching war with Russia in the Ukraine in which Russia has the ability to destroy the United States in about a half an hour with nuclear weapons. The end result of having perpetual chaos is the Government taking rights, or freedoms away from the citizens without them noticing. I shouldn't have to tell anyone that is a Christian that man has no right to make or enforce any law that is not in the Bible.

Second...
There are more people dieing from the flu every year than people who have died from Ebola since it was first discovered or engineered. About 36,000 die from the flu every year. Of course breaking the skin to get any type of vaccination is against the laws of Yahweh (Lev 19:28) however, many people line up to get the hazardous flu shot every single year. I say hazardous for a number of reasons and will only mention one and that is because they have to put the liquid metal mercury in the vaccine. Mercury makes the vaccine shelf stable, so it has to be in there. Even if I am wrong about the flu shot and having the influenza virus directly pumped into your blood stream directly bypassing your immune system is a good thing, then when everyone else around you gets immunized, around you and you don't, then there is no chance for you to get the flu.

A waste pile of Ebola waste items being burned

What does the Bible say about the handling of diseases...
It's not my intention to spoon feed everyone all the information about disease control in the Bible. The Bible is clear that in the last days there will be pestilences among other signs of the return of Yashua Messiah, so if you cure one disease you will have another pop up. Although Africa has given us AIDS and Ebola, if they just follow the laws of Yahweh these types of diseases would stop.

It's my intention to try to peak peoples interest to investigate for themselves what the Bible says. These are only a few among many that people should know about.

Exodus 15:26 God will save you from diseases if you follow his word.
Deuteronomy 4:28 Keep God first and do not follow the workings of men.
If you are truly an Israelite and have the calling of God John 6:44 then you will know that you have to follow the laws of God to be truly his and his laws are a lot easier to follow then following the knee jerk reactions of men 1 John 2:4, 5:3, 3:4, Etc...

What doe the Bible say about diseases?
Actually the Bible doesn't mention the word Ebola, but does tell Israel how to handle diseases. It's also important to remember that the virus is not an airborne virus and can only be contacted through dire contact to body fluids.
This is the part where you will have to do a little bit of reading and research because is is lengthy.
Leviticus 15:1-33 talks about general cleanness.
Leviticus 14 Talks about diseases, specifically in this chapter it's leprosy, but can be applied to any disease.

The Bible talks about keeping diseased people away from the general population, while burning items that are contaminated. It also talks about using Hyssop oil as a disinfectant, which nothing on the market will compare to the disinfecting properties of Hyssop oil, of course they can't patent the oil, because it's been around for centuries. No Pharmacy will ever tell you to use Hyssop oil.

To try to put it in a nutshell for all those who will not read the Bible...
It all comes down to cleanliness and disinfecting to stop the spread of disease. Avoid bodily fluids. Of course in a general way we do not live in a clean country anymore. We are overrun by non-Israelites that do not follow the laws of Yahweh and dismiss anyone that talks about the laws of Yahweh as being a kook. The laws of Islam and humanism rule this country. This is exactly why we have the resurgence of diseases and parasites in recent years such as bed lice, scabies, and tuberculosis. If the laws were followed to begin with the disease would not exist on this level because we are to be a separate people.

I pray all Israelites will follow the laws of Yahweh and will work to stop any spread of disease.

Joseph's Half Brothers come to Egypt for Food Genesis 42

To see Genesis 42 without my comments click HERE.

It took a famine that came directly from the Father to elevate Joseph to the position of Governor and treasurer of Egypt. This once again put him in a position to see his brothers which sold him into slavery. When Joseph's 10 Brothers came to Egypt to buy corn they did not bring their youngest brother Benjamin with them. This is because their father Jacob (Israel) wanted Benjamin to stay with him while the others went to Egypt v.4. Jacob (Israel) believed that something may happen to Benjamin along the journey. I believe that it is because he didn't trust the other sons to take care of him, probably knew that they did not have anything but their own selfish desires to motivated them.

Joseph's Half Brothers had to talk to Joseph to buy corn.

For Jacob's brothers to get the corn, they had to talk to Joseph. Joseph purposely made himself a stranger to them so they would not be recognized by speaking through an interpreter and of course he looked different being older and dressed in traditional royal Egyptian clothes. Although Egypt did have food, Egypt was fearful of Asiatic spies in which Joseph used this as a pretense to imprison his brothers for 3 days. It's possible that 3 days could have been the same amount of time that Joseph spent in the cistern before his brothers sold him into slavery.

Joseph in turn decided to test his brothers to see if they were repentant for selling him into slavery years earlier. Although his brothers were Hebrews they were not following the laws of the Father when they sold Joseph into slavery. Under Hebrew law kidnapping is punishable by death for those who kidnap and sell people into slavery. This is also true for all of us as we all have broken the Father's laws and do not deserve the forgiving grace of the Lord. So at this point, the only thing keeping his brothers alive legally and literally, is Joseph's whim.

During the 3 days Joseph had time to think. Joseph told his brothers if they want to live and all to be fine, then they will bring the corn to Jacob's household and bring their youngest brother Benjamin with them when they return to Egypt for more food. Joseph told his brothers to not come back to see him for more food again unless Benjamin was with them Gen43:3. Benjamin was Joseph's only and full blooded brother and he wanted him to be with him in Egypt.
As a pledge or hostage, Joseph decided to hold Simeon in prison while the others brought food to Jacob and for them to bring Benjamin from Canaan land. His decision to hold Simeon is because according to legend Simeon was the cruelest of the brothers and this idea can be readily supported by the fact that Simeon and Levi slew all the males of the land of Shechem Gen34:25.

Joseph's Half Brothers Beg for mercy.

When Joseph's brothers were released, Joseph had his brothers money put into their sacks without them knowing, to carry back to Canaan land, so when they opened their sacks they would be even more fearful of the situation because they would look like thieves. He also knew that they would have to return to see him or they would starve.
Undoubtedly Joseph's brothers caravan had months worth of corn and other provisions with them when they returned to Canaan land. This of course can only mean that Simeon was going to spend months in prison waiting for the others eventual return.

Joseph's brothers told Jacob (Israel) that the Governor of Egypt was holding Simeon hostage and that he personally wanted to see Benjamin to confirm that they were not spies. Jacob of course was distraught because he lost Simeon to prison and believed that Joseph was dead. Israel didn't want Benjamin to go with them because Benjamin was the only surviving son of the wife that he truly loved. Israel stated in v.38 that “...if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.”

Notice in the statement above that Israel (the man), stated “to the grave” he would go and he didn't say he would have sorrow until he flew off into outer space into the heavens after he dies to see his son again in heaven?

The concept of Christians going to heaven I have posted about before and will not go into here for the sake of brevity. If you wish to see the post I am referring to then click HERE.

Despite whether people agree with me or not about Christians going to heaven, I pray for all to read their Bible daily read the truth of God, and to follow his commandments! 1 John 2:4

Joseph's Commission Genesis 41

To see Genesis 41 without my comments click HERE.

It was two years after the Chief Butler was restored to his position with the Pharaoh when he suddenly remembered Joseph being in prison. The provocation for his rememberance was because the Pharaoh dreamed a dream that was not interpretable by himself nor by any of his “Wise men nor Magicians.” After hearing about Joseph's ability to interpret dreams from the Butler the Pharaoh sent for Joseph. The Pharaoh's dream consisted of unnatural acts being committed by famished kine eating fattened kine and 7 fatted ears of corn on stalks being eaten by 7 famished corn. “Kine” of course is plural for cows, and stalks of corn only grow up to 3 ears on each stalk maximum. The number seven in this dream is the number of spiritual completeness.
The Pharaoh recognized the seriousness of Joseph's interpretation.

Because this was 2 dreams that were the same it fulfilled the law of double witness that it came from Father Yahweh and would come to fruition soon v.32. Joseph's interpretation which came from God, was that there would be 7 years of plenty immediately followed by 7 years of famine and he told the Pharaoh to start preparing for it by putting an honorable man in charge of all the food and to collect 20% of all the crops to redistribute during the years of famine. Obviously, the years of plenty produced much more crop then years previously because 20% of a normal crop yield would not produce enough crop to feed everyone for the years of famine.

The Pharaoh recognized the wisdom of Joseph and recognized the righteousness of the Father being the one and only true God. He also knew there was none that was as wise and righteous as Joseph, so he put Joseph himself in charge of the collecting of the corn for Egypt. Joseph's position in Egypt was second in command as he acted as both Governor and Chief Treasurer over all of Egypt. The Pharaoh gave Joseph his personal ring. The ring was used to make an impression so Joseph could write checks. This was unusual for an Egyptian Pharaoh to do this because the Egyptians detested Hebrew sheep herders and would not even eat with a Hebrew at that time.

When Joseph was put second in command for Egypt, the Pharaoh gave Joseph a wife named Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On which she gave him two sons named Manasseh which means “forgetfulness” and Ephraim which means “fruitful.”
The land of On is located just South of the Nile Delta near Cairo.

I have heard before that some believe that Joseph's wife Asenath was an Egyptian by race. This of course is not true due to the fact that the blood line of the Messiah was pure as outlined in Luke Chapter 3 and the Messiah was not to come for the Egyptians. This can be easily be shown through the story of Hagar the Egyptian and Ishmael that did not receive the birthright from Father Abraham Gen 16 and Gen17.

The truth is that the Bible is about Israel and is written to Israel. The Bible does not mention any other group of people except for the Hebrew/Israelites with exception of when others come into contact with the Hebrew/Israelites. So anytime the Bible doesn't mention the race of a person, which in this particular case of Asenath it's automatically known they are referring to an Israelite, or the fair skin racial stock Israel came from such as given in the examples of .the wives of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

The land of On was in the southern Egyptian empire South of the Nile Delta and is the place where the free Hebrews of Egypt lived with their sheep. The land of On is also the same place where Mary and Joseph took the Messiah when Herod the Great was seeking to kill him. There's also evidence that there were shepherd kings that settled this land of On came directly from Melchizedek King of Salem (Salem of course was the ancient name of what we now call Jeru-Salem) Gen 14. Some believe that this person Melchizedek was actually Shem (Noah's son) and this may very well be possible because Shem was alive at the time of Abraham. The concept of Joseph's children being of pure racial stock is best summed up by Dr. Howard B.Rand in his book “Primogenesis” which on page 117 he writes:
The priestly caste to which Joseph's father-in-law, the priest on On, belonged was undoubtedly of the line of Shem. Apparently Shem's descendants were established in the office of priesthood in Egypt at the time of the building of the Great Pyramid. Thus, the purity of the racial stock of the appointed seed was preserved in the birth of these boys to Joseph and Asenath. But it was to be expected that the descendants of these two sons would have characteristics very different from the rest of Jacob's descendants. This fact is borne out in the history of their posterity.”

Chapter 41 Closes stating that Joseph gathered up 20% of the corn from the prosperous years in Egypt and filled the storehouses with an uncountable amount of corn which he in turn sold back to the Egyptians. Some may think that selling the corn back to the Egyptians would not be the right thing to do because the corn was originally the Egyptians to begin with. The reason that he was justified to sell it back to the Egyptians is found in Jasher 50:20 when it's written that the food of the individual Egyptians was not stored properly, was full of vermin, and unfit to eat. The Egyptian government (Joseph) had to build storehouses, properly store the grain, guard the storehouses, and properly ration the corn.

I also want to add that Egyptian history talks about an Egyptian that saved Egypt and the known world that went by the name of Imhotep. It's my belief that Imhotep and Joseph were one and the same. I have posted in the past about why I believe that Joseph is Imhotep in Is Joseph Imhotep? Part 1 and in  is Joseph Imhotep? Part 2.

I pray all will see the faith of Joseph that had the faith of a mustard seed that eventually saved Egypt, the Hebrew/Israelites, and the entire known world.

Praise the Lord!
